The Marriott Coronado Island Resort

First day... hurray...

Great sleep, no jet-lag (yet)

Breakfast at the Marriott... greasy but good!



At least they give you a generous portion of fruits to make up for it.. one thing i notice in the states, though the fry-ups might be unhealthy, they always compensate with a HUGE bowl of salad and/or fruits!


Look at the view! As we are on Coronado Island, that is the bridge you need to cross to get to the main land... alternatively.. the water TAXI!

Hmmmm, I should have brought my tennis racquet... looking at the lush green court.. !

The sun is shining... and it's only 7am! The pool is calling my name. In the distance, you can see San Diego downtown. I think a quick sunbath is in order later in the day ... :P

For the serious swimmer (not me) a gorgeous lap pool all to yourself!


I love this place... I hope the weather holds the entire week!
