NO.. no..this is not some posh, air-conditioned mamak...


eventhough that's really a 'Telur setengah masak" you see..




It is in fact.. Pasta Zanmai!

Japanese Western Fusion.
This is one of the best Japanese restaurants in Midvalley, I tell ya.

The beauty of it is that, though these are really different varieties of salads, in different forms, it hardly feels like you've been eating salad at all.. because it is just so gastronomically pleasing to the senses.
Take for example the Tofu salad.. add a fresh, simply prepared prawn to the mix + dressing, and voila.. a truly delicious tofu salad emerges.


Sometimes though, the food here is so good that the universe conspires to make you eat more than you really need to...


Ooh.. duck breast! High in flavour and protein.. and low in carbs (if you have the willpower to sweep the potatoes to the side, that is.)



And the addictive rice ... ! We cannot resist ..



Some kind soul in the form of a nice lady (nigel's friend), sends over a huge scallop, mayo, pizza and you know your salad diet plan has just gone to pots. hah!

Who cares..?! Start diet tomorrow la.. :P



Arsing around in midvalley. Jeez.. do those playboy bunnies have the energy to hop around the whole day I wonder... hmmmm... ;)
