Nadeje Patisserie on a Monday Morning.

Recently Updated4

I love my colleagues! Who takes the trouble to lug a whole 1.5 kg cake, ice packed, all the way from Malacca, back to the office, to present his co-workers with a gorgeous Monday morning breakfast treat. WHO?

My colleague la. That's who:P
Bless his generous soul.

He totally brightened up our boring, hazy, sullen Monday morning, he did!

Mille crêpe is a French cake made of many crêpe layers. Mille (mil) means 'a thousand', implying the many layers of crêpe.

One thousand layers of JOY if you ask me.

Now I am jealous. I am going to get my colleagues to get me some goreng pisang for tea. I'll slice up the bananas to 1000 thin slices and slap some cream on it and arrange it into layers and market it as Kek Seribu Lapis Pisang. :D

I guess the heat in Terengganu must have fried by brains out.

BTW never tried this mille crepe thingy. I heard you can purchase it from somewhere at section 17. Anyone knows where?

Very nice guy indeed.

I don't have such a good-souled colleague :p, and neither I would make my way to Malacca anytime soon...

Any chance it's available in Klang Valley? Section 17??

Otherwise I only have Kuih Lapis as sub LOL

The creator of the mille crepe in Nadeje, Amos, left in 2007 (hence it's not as good as it used to be). He has ventured out onto his own, sadly for us folks here - it's only available in JB and Penang! Check out his blog, Humble Beginnings. Lots of delicious mille crepe with different flavours! http://www.humblebeginnings.com.my/millecrepe.html Can always order ahead if one is making a trip there.
