2 breakfasts and a really WET run

My morning did not start well. It was raining and we were scheduled to go for a run. Too late to back out.. So what to do... RUN la. 10km.

This is how it normally feels... for me...

Asleep.

Awake.

Sluggish.

Start run.

Warmer.

Lactic Acid Build up.

Push.

Push harder.

Pumping.

Finally, Adrenaline Rush.

In the zone (can go on for-like-ever)

Sprint.

Finish!

The cool down.

The come down.

HUNGER PANGS.

If you don't feed me like within 10 seconds of that feeling, I get really whingy.

So we get to the restaurant, and I see all that LUSH , FATTY meat, screaming for attention.

What is taking that man so long... hurry up already and serve us.

DSC09895
Aiiyoh... no need to be perfect la. just chop the meat quick!

DSC09905i
According to CUMI.. this is the whingy face... (he drew the horns la.. there's nothing growing out of my head :P)

DSC09909
RM15.00 for two persons - Char Siew, Siew Yoke and Roasted Chicken.

Walking, walking....

We see a sign that catches our eye.

Nippy Noodles! The name is cute. The advertising is irresistible.

Noodles made with the bamboo, the traditional Chinese way(as in, from CHINA).
DSC09920
Apparently the guys sits on the Bamboo, and uses the pressure exerted by his thighs and body weight, to roll the noodles to the exact thickness required.

Erm, I hope they wash that bamboo with every use... and I certainly hope that guy changes his pants everyday.. :P

DSC09934
Verdict? Nippy noodles failed to impress. The noodles were on thin side, with hardly any taste. Bland is the word.

DSC09941
The Sui Kau was nothing to shout about either. As a matter of fact, it was slightly burnt and pretty small.
DSC09944
We ate our noodles with much disappointment.

DSC09947
The ginger vinegar sauce had really pathetic amounts of ginger. How sad.

DSC09922

All in all, a let down. Such "terror" advertising, but unfortunately, All Show, No Go.

What can we say? You can only fool discerning eaters once, but that's it.
There will not be a repeat performance!

Add:
Nippy Noodle,

Entrepreneurs Park,
Off Jln Kuchai Lama,

Food: 3/10
Service:5/10
MSG levels: high
Salt levels:high
