Queen's Restaurant Cheras

Food fit for the Queen at Restoran Queen, Cheras! LOL...
OK, the surroundings are hardly fit for the Queen (but the Queen of DSLR can la.. :P)

Do not look too closely at your surroundings. Best focus of the juicy stick of satay and the sterile looking styrofoam bowls of sauce. Oh yea, the individual bowls can really give one a false sense of hygienic security... truly. If ignorance is bliss, I'll just stay ignorant for a while longer, thank you.

Sizzling hot, dancing wings.. I swear mine was popping and moving on the plate. The sizzling whispers from the oily, glistening, caramelized body, was the wing.. calling my name.. "Eat me Ciki!"

Love me.. love me whole.
"I bleed for you... I pour out my GUTS to you.. I love you from the depths of my intestine, my spleen. Will you not take me for all that I am?!" :P

"Oh shut up. Say a pray."

Devour.

They are not stingy with their porky bits. At RM6.00 you can feed an army with this stuff.

Check from time to time that you back-side is still intact. The gust of wind is not natural. It is in fact the motorcars zooming by at neck breaking speed as they try to run the motorcyclist over.

Finish up and get out quick before you lose a cheek. Butt cheek.

Restoran Queen,
Opposite Queens Park Mall,
Where Jalan Shelley and Jalan Peel intersect,
(A very old part of KL town).

Definitely fit for a queen. Bald Eagle and I love this place. This time, he's not gonna bring your picture to the stall owner and say, "SHE's the one lah!!". Teehee.

oh i know this place. queen's park mall is the almost dejected place, but with an Esprit outlet (cheap off-season wears) in the midst.

never venture out of Queens Park Mall before... apparently there is one stall famous for yong tau fu nearby... I remember going there once during my working days in Taman Maluri Cheras...

I studied around this area since primary schools. Basically I grew up there.

They used to have 2 satay stalls there. One inside the Queens shop and another one in front of the Shell petrol station. The one in front of Shell petrol station moved to the opposite road (beside Convent Peel Road) school... They also used to have great popiah stall sold by 2 sisters in the 90s.
Until today, my dad would drive all the way to Queens to take away their satay. It has been at least 30 years my dad has been patronizing this stall.

Queens Park itself got 3 nice restaurants (I visited). One is Xin Wah Bak Kut Teh, I had been eating this place for at least 20 years and the steamboat place called Lin Yuan steamboat famous for its pumpkin porridge soup. The other one is the "Xui Mao" shop that I havent visited yet.

Yong tau fu place is a wooden house beside the Yaacob Latiff school at Lorong Peel. Opened during lunch time but the place is very hot.

I agreed that their satay, their chicken wing and their paus are excellent.
